The plumber knows the plumbing, the HVAC tech knows the HVAC, your smart devices each live in their own app, and records end up in drawers, spreadsheets and memory. Nothing ever knows the whole house.

It checks the issue library
25 common problems with their usual causes, safe checks and the right trade — most common cause first.
It looks at your own history
Signed in, it reads your past repairs and matching gallery photos, and starts with “Your past case” when one fits.
It searches online guides
It pulls in well-known DIY sites and repair videos, labeled as online sources.
Safety comes first
Gas smells, sparking, flooding near power and similar dangers get a STOP message. It never advises on gas lines, electrical panels or other licensed work.
